Maverick marine antennas are constructed using the latest composite technology
to provide a radome of maximum structural integrity to survive the harshest
marine conditions. The solid state matching circuit in each Maverick
antenna ensures precise impedance matching. The all-brass elements are
soldered not crimped, eliminating unnecessary system noise. All sectional
antennas feature a 1"-14 threaded ferrule which is first screwed together
and then additionally secured with two stainless steel set screws. Maverick
models feature factory-installed PL259 connectors & low-loss RG8X
coaxial cable to assure the maximum power transfer to the antenna. Note: Maverick antennas are manufactured and specified for marine applications only and should not be considered as alternatives for land based applications. |
