Miniature Fluorescent Lamps(12V)
CI EarthLamps are waterproof fluorescent lamps for indoor or outdoor lighting. Very efficient. Ideal for solar-powered lighting applications.  For converting fixtures from 120Vac to 12Vdc power; these lamps install easily in almost any existing fixture. Lamp base is threaded 3/8 in. Install vertically or horizontally. Operate 10 to 14VDC. Typical 5000hr life. These are single tubes. Also available with dual lamps, where reduced length is required, in 1-inch OD.

Iota 12V DC Compact Fluorescent Light Conversion Kit
These kits can be retrofitted into any light fixture if the physical dimensions of the fixture can accomodate the lamp with its base and ballast. Sometimes the ballast can be installed in the junction box or on the top of the fixture. The ballast dimensions are 2.75L x 1.9W x 1.2D. The overall length of the socket plus lamp varies with the lamp wattage as listed below:

White LEDs
These LEDs provide white light suitable for small lamps. Especially suited for solar-powered lighting. Applications include instrument panels for automobiles, electronic signs, backlights in portable tools and instruments, and general-purpose illumination.The imitation white light is obtained by the integration of a high-luminosity blue LED chip and a fluorescent YAG phosphor into a single package. When part of the blue light is absorbed into the fluorescent material, the latter emits yellow-green light, which, mixed with the blue, produces a pseudo-white color. Surface-mount version measures 3.4 x 2.8 x 1.9 mm.  Typical luminous intensity is specified for a 20-mA drive current.
