Pump-Paks
For domestic water or irrigation uses. A Pump-Pak is a pre-wired water pumping unit in a weatherproof enclosure, including a water pump, storage battery, solar charge regulator, accumulator, and control circuits. Suction line and solar panel included. It is a complete solar-power pumping system when it is simply plugged into the solar photovoltaic array. Internal charging and control circuits automatically turn the pump on and off upon demand (when a faucet is opened or closed). Pumping time depends upon size of solar panel and battery. So, several sizes are offered. A Pump-Pak is usually placed on the ground, but it may also be bolted to the base of a pedestal for security (as shown). The solar panel may be mounted on the same pedestal or located wherever optimum sun is available, up to 100 feet away. Note on complete kits: thesePump-Paks are included in our irrigation kits anddomestic water supply kits, which include all necessary pipe, fittings, filter, timer, etc. |

Solar Pump-Paks
(to 3gpm) - - Shallow Draw Less than 45 psi. For daily, intermittent use. This Pump-Pak contains a diaphram pump, battery, pressure switch, solar charge regulator, and a pressure accumulator. The accumulator contains an air bladder which maintains a small amount of water at pressure after the pressure switch disconnects the pump power. The pump also shuts off when battery voltage is below 11V. Typical application: Makes tap water available day or night for a small rural home , from pond or cistern. Ideal for drip irrigation. Not for continuous operation such as filling large farm tanks. (For continuous pumping see .....) |
