The Rutland, 913 Model WG 913 Rutland Windcharger 3 phase 12 or 24 volt windcharger has a high inertia generator which accumulates more energy in real wind conditions than any other comparable wind generator available, owing to its continuous rotation between gusts of wind and its enviable low wind speed start-up. Designed for both land and marine applications the WG 913 is the newest windcharger in the Rutland range. For a sail boat application it can also be supplied with its own polished stainless steel mounting pole. Output will start at the low wind speed of 4 MPH. At a 10 MPH wind speed output will be 2 Amps at 12 volts, 4 Amps at a 15 MPH wind speed, 7.5 Amps at a 22 MPH wind speed and as winds become even stronger output will continue to increase. Most wind speeds are at the lower end of the wind scale, therefore the ability of the Rutland Windcharger to deliver power at low wind speeds but also to survive severe gale force winds are very inportant points to consider when buying a windcharger. |

| The Rutland 910 Furlmatic
Model FM 910-3 Rutland Windcharger 3 phase 12 or 24 volt windcharger has the same high inertia generator as the WG 913 model, but because of its unique tail fin design the FM 910-3 windcharger will furl out of the wind if wind speeds exceed 36 MPH. This unit is recommended for use at remote sites where the wind regime is severe and because of its remoteness the site is rarely visited. The FM 910-3 in effect looks after itself. |

The Rutland 1803 Furlmatic This latest
Rutlang wind gen produces 340Watts at 22mph (10m/sec). Startup is 6mph
(3m/sec). Standard voltage is 12 or 24V DC, but 36 and 48 are available.
Towertop weight is 39kg. Turbine diamewter is 1.8m. Mounts on tower mast
with 3.2 in.inside diameter. Charge controller is included.

| ABOUT RATINGS - - Whoa! Whats going on? Why are Rutland windgen power ratings lower than others? Because they are made in England where rating is more conservative than in USA. Actually, for a given blade diameter there is little difference in actual, on-the-site power output among the various manufacturers. Rutland measures power based on nearby, undisturbed wind speed; many other mfrs use instantaneous (gust) power, considered less realistic by some wind pros. |
