Outdoor Lighting Systems
 Solectrogen®
Solar Outdoor Lighting System kits can be used on a pole for area lighting
or street lighting. They may be also used for billboard lighting or outdoor
sign lighting. When more light is desired, multiple units may be used.
The light fixture and the PV modules (solar panels) will mount on a pole
or flat vertical surface, using the mounting hardware provided. The light
fixtures are outdoor type, reflectorized and depending on your requirements
may contain compact fluorescent lamps of 9,13,26 or 36 watts with excellent
color rendition (index of 78). We also offer a 35 watt low pressure sodium
(LPS) lamp version producing yellow light (poor CRI, but very high efficiency
and very long lamp life). The battery and the charge regulator/light controller
are provided in a weather-tight box that can be mounted on the pole or
at the base of it. The pole is not included in the lighting packages and
you may choose any type of pole for your application. The controller turns
the light on at dusk and activates a timer which may be set to keep the
light on for selected lengths of time or until dawn. If the battery voltage
drops to a pre-set limit, the low voltage disconnect will turn the light
off, before the timer will. |

Solectrogen®
Solar Indoor Lighting Systems are a kit consisting of a 12V lamp, battery,
lighting control, and solar PV array. The lamp choices are: 9W or 13W compact
fluorescent (CF) ceiling or wall-mounted fixture with DC ballast. The lighting
control disconnects the light when the battery reaches the LVD setpoint.
